Professor Susan Corr

Professor Susan Corr is Head of Research and Development at Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust where she is strategically leading the growth of research and implementing research into practice for the one of the biggest Mental Health and Community Services Trust in the UK.  She most recently was Professor of Occupational Science at the University of Northampton and her professional background is occupational therapy.  She is an experienced researcher with expertise in a range of areas including applied health research, occupational science, service evaluation, occupational therapy, stroke rehabilitation research, older people as occupational beings, outcome measures and Q methodology. Professor Corr  has supervised several PhD and MPhil students to completion from a range of healthcare backgrounds and recently led a Professional Doctorate Module ‘Developing Research Leadership and Management’. Professor Corr has been Chair of the Editorial Board for the British Journal of Occupational Therapy and a member of the College of Occupational Therapists’ Research and Development Board
